Parking and Access

Parking Issues Since 2016

Since the Braun family moved into the neighbouring property in 2016, there have been recurring issues relating to parking on and around the shared driveway. These include vehicles belonging to the Brauns, their contractors, and their visitors obstructing access to garages and the street.

Impact on Residents

Obstructions have not only affected us, but also other residents in the close. Vehicles have at times been parked across driveways and visitor spaces, restricting movement and creating tension within the street. Complaints raised with drivers have occasionally resulted in disputes, insults or refusal to move vehicles.

During larger gatherings, parking congestion has been particularly severe, with vehicles left in positions that limit access for both ourselves and neighbours.

Use of Parking Spaces

There have also been concerns about the long-term use of visitor spaces in the street for permanent vehicle parking. This has limited availability for genuine visitors and increased parking pressure during busy times.
